The pros & cons of social media at work
There are advantages and disadvantages of using social media in a workplace environment. The advantages are that the use of social media can improve a team's morale as it boosts their mood and also it shows that their employer trusts them. However, the disadvantages are that employees may misuse social media and waste time on it. Also, there holds a risk that the employee posts something on their social media account that risks making the company look bad, which explains why Adidas states on their social media policy that while employees can associate themselves with the company on social media, what they say is their own words and that the company is not responsible for the consequences of what their employee says about the company.

UCAS Personal Statement
I aspire to work both in front and behind the camera as a filmmaker and actor and I believe that your course covers all the skills that I require to achieve both of these goals. I enjoy devising characters and plot lines alongside presenting performances, which I experienced through working in GCSE Drama and my hobby for screenwriting inspired me to pursue a career in filmmaking.

I am fascinated by the production of TV & Film and the ability to create visual scenes to entertain audiences. Portraying characters using acting techniques such as projection, gestus and breaking the fourth wall, inspired by practitioners such as Brecht, which allows me to present my acting skills to camera as well as a live audience.

My main interests are to produce media and perform to an audience. My studies have enabled me to develop skills of creating storylines and performing characters with confidence and together with further study I am looking forward to progressing these skills under the guidance of professional tuition.

My current studies have enabled me to be creative in every project I have produced, including a Christmas advert for Costa, a documentary on men's mental health, a music video based around the topic of togetherness, and a live play based around relationship dramas, all subjects of which I am particularly passionate about. My strongest skills as a filmmaker are organisation, planning and directing. I am able to deliver a finished piece to or before a deadline as I always self evaluate and set high expectations for myself however I will always reflect back upon the experience in production so I can learn for future projects. For every project I enjoy the process of researching the form in order to produce a good quality media product. During my work experience I have been a cameraman for the 11th Hour Art Festival in King's Lynn and for the college's in-house production company, Springboard TV. I am a presenter on Hospital Radio King's Lynn where I have co-hosted the live 'Request Show', hosted the Christmas Day show in 2018 and I am very excited to be doing the show again for Christmas 2019. These experiences allowed me to express my skills in performing and presenting as well as working as part of a team.

I participated in NCS, where I conquered my fears by taking part in various outdoor activities, aired my views on current affairs in group discussions and participated in a bake sale to raise money for children's charities. NCS allowed me to develop my social skills as well as my skills for working in a team where we planned a toy drive for the East Anglian Children's Hospice. At school, I was a Senior Prefect and Peer Mentor, which allowed me to show empathy towards others. I am looking forward to using all these skills during my university journey.

The experience and knowledge I will gain from this course will enable me to pursue the two things in life that I enjoy, which is to play characters and to make films for audience's enjoyment. My studies of Drama and Media over the past four years has constantly inspired me to study both subjects at degree level and to start my career in filmmaking and acting industries.
